We received all of the paperwork today to make our match with your birth mother official, Baby! We get to meet her in a couple weeks. We're kind of nervous but excited too. We're nervous because your birth mother can still decide she doesn't want to adopt but excited hoping everything will work out and you will be coming home to us in about a month.
We're busy working on your room, now. It's all painted and I hope to buy your crib, dresser, and changing table this weekend. We'll also get some decorations on the walls.
We're also getting ready to have a baby shower to help welcome you into the world with all of the stuff you will need. We're hoping to have that in early July.
Beyond that, just lots of paperwork, phone calls to places, and getting organized. We're trying to take it step by step, knowing that this might not be you, yet, Baby, but we're hoping it is.
