Your Quilt

I'm back again, Baby. Thought I'd share some of our keeping-ourselves-busy-before-you-get-here activities. The photo above is the quilt Mommy made you. Since we don't know yet if you'll be a boy or girl we picked out these colors that we thought might work well for either. The theme is elephants so we have already scouted out lots of cute elephant things for your room. Your bedroom is already painted gray so it will go well.

We were at a barbecue at our friends' home last night and Daddy was telling all kinds of new people about you and that we're waiting for you. To Mommy, that's a pretty exciting thing. It's fun to tell people that you will be joining our family soon.

I'm going to go work a little bit more on planning your room now. I am working on an elephant mobile to hang over your crib and we're adding more and more stuff every day to our registries so we're ready for you when you get here.
